QUALITY TEA FARMING

The best soil for tea, however, is a light, friable loam with porous subsoil, which permits a free percolation of water. The tea plant does not tolerate stagnant water.

PICKED & PACKAGED AT SOURCE

The shoot and two leaves are picked every one to two weeks during the harvesting period. Harvesting usually takes place twice a year. Selective picking can be carried out by hand or a machine can be used.

A PREMIUM DELIGHT

Great, authentic tasting tea, comes in individual sachet for freshness. Makes an excellent gift for a tea lover. Try with or without milk and sweetener to taste.

Processing and Packaging

Finally, all tea must be dried to remove any residual moisture and create a shelf-stable leaf. Again, the method of heating can dramatically change the flavor of the tea.

By contrast, the drying process can also be very gentle, to avoid imparting any flavor changes. After it’s dried, the tea is ready to be packaged and shipped all over the world.
